I live in Prague and I heard sometimes bad words about some hotels, but I think this is subjective, there are hotels which some people might like, other might not. Anyway, stay away from Archibald Hotel, they are said to have bad mannered staff, and it's placed on Zitna street, which is full of XXX stores and cinemas. Other bad hotel is the ramada Airport, which is far too expensive for what it has to offer.
