If you have nothing against sharing a room with others, I suggest you go to this hostel called Elf. It's on Husitska street, not far from the Florenc bus station. I enjoyed my stay there last autumn, especially because of the terrace I used to have my daily beer in. A bed won't set you back more than 290 Kc, so it's really cheap.
