Prague - Karlovy Vary International Film Festival

The Karlovy Vary Festival takes place during two weeks in July, giving the chance of seeing plenty of movies. The town is not very far from Prague; anybody can drop by in the morning, catch some movies, walk around and return in the evening. The tickets are cheap but they sell out quickly. You can find them either at the Thermal Hotel or at the booths on the main boulevard. Don't expect to meet many stars there, this type of events is by invitation only. If you plan to go there during the festival, book very long in advance, 3-4 months would be a safe bet.
